PARKING

Parking is plentiful.  There is ample street parking in the lot at The Crossings, along Marina Bay Parkway, and in the Starbucks lot across the street.

LOCATION/ENTRANCE

We are located at 855 Marina Bay Parkway, Ste. 110, just a couple doors down from The Artisan Cafe and across the street from Starbucks. There will be a sandwich board outside of the lobby to identify the entrance and the studio room is tucked inside in a separate room to the right of the main entry. NOTE: Due to building security, the lobby door will be locked at the start of class. Please ensure you arrive at least 5 minutes early in order to ensure entry.

MATS

Please plan to bring your own mat. We do have a small number of mats for rent ($5/rental).

WHAT TO WEAR

Wear comfortable clothing that you can move and sweat in: leggings, lightweight loose pants, shorts, t-shirts, tank tops, lightweight long sleeve tops. For most classes, there is no need to wear socks as you will have a hard time gripping the mat with your feet. For Restorative classes where you are holding supported poses for longer periods of time, wearing clothing that is comfortable like you would wear for a cozy nap, including socks, is recommended.

RECOMMENDED CLASSES

At Gaia Yoga, all of our classes are considered All Levels and instructors always ensure to cue and offer modifications and progressions for beginner students. That being said, often times beginner students are most comfortable starting in our Gentle Flow classes in order to start learning the poses. If you are already an active and relatively mobile individual, you may find the Hatha and Vinyasa classes easy to jump into as well. Please feel free to give us a call to talk about your specific needs!

Gaia Yoga offers a special Prenatal Class on Thursdays at 4:30pm. In general, the Gentle Flow and Restorative classes are other great options for a safe and relaxing practice.
