PARKING

Plentiful parking is available in The Crossing lot and along Meeker Avenue. We suggest parking at the backside of the building along the fence if the spaces in front of the studio are occupied.

LOCATION/ENTRANCE

We are located at 855 Marina Bay Parkway, Suite 28. If you are looking at the Main Lobby entrance for 855 Marina Bay Parkway, you will find us down the right side of building at the back corner unit. We have very visible signage and cafe lights strung on the exterior, so we are hard to miss!

ARRIVAL

Please arrive at least 5 minutes early to get settled in! We want to ensure you have time to secure your valuables and find a space for your mat. Class will start promptly at the designated time, however the lobby door will remain unlocked should you arrive late.

MATS

Please plan to bring your own mat. We do have a small number of community mats you can borrow and offer Manduka PROlite® Yoga Mats and Yogitoes® Yoga Mat Towels for sale.

WHAT TO WEAR

Wear comfortable clothing that you can move and sweat in: leggings, lightweight loose pants, shorts, t-shirts, tank tops, lightweight long sleeve tops. For most classes, there is no need to wear socks as you will have a hard time gripping the mat with your feet. For Restorative classes where you are resting in supported poses for longer periods of time, wearing clothing that is comfortable like you would wear for a cozy nap, including socks, is recommended.

RECOMMENDED CLASSES

At Gaia Yoga, all of our classes are considered All Levels and instructors always ensure to cue and offer modifications and progressions for beginner students. That being said, often times beginner students are most comfortable starting in our Gentle Yoga classes in order to start learning the pose names at a slower and much gentler pace. If you are already an active and relatively mobile individual, you may find the Hatha and Vinyasa classes easy to jump into as well. Please feel free to give us a call to talk about your specific needs!

INJURIES

Yoga can be a wonderful and supportive way to move while recovering from an injury. In general, the Gentle Flow and Restorative classes are the best options when healing from an injury. Be sure to consult with your physician about physical activity if you are recovering from a major illness, injury, or surgery.

PREGNANCY

Join our Prenatal Classes on Wednesday’s at 6pm and Thursday’s at 4:30pm or try Gentle Flow & Restorative. Let your instructor know beforehand for modifications.

POSTPARTUM

Join our Postnatal Yoga Class on Monday’s at 4:30pm or try Gentle Flow or Restorative. Gaia Yoga also offers a specialty 6 week Postnatal Yoga Support Group series. Check the calendar for the next offering!
