Jade Chau

Jade (she/her) is a yoga instructor, holistic health coach (NBHWC), and reiki and bodywork practitioner. She has over 700 hours of hatha, vinyasa, yin, and restorative yoga facilitation experience. She began practicing yoga in 2012 and in 2017, she completed her 200-hr yoga teacher training.

Part of what Jade finds beautiful about yoga is that it is rather comprehensive—there will always be a style or at the very least, an aspect of this practice that can support the broader context of one’s life. Jade sees yoga as a catalyst for deep transformation. The practice allowed her to retrain and fortify her nervous system, and that evolution had a ripple effect on all areas of her life, including her dharma, her relationships, and how she relates to herself and the world.

Jade’s teaching style invites exploration, imagination, self-connection, and self-compassion. She facilitates in a grounded, unhurried way. While she often includes fundamental concepts of yoga philosophy in her teaching, she also encourages practitioners to arrive at their own insights about what this practice is and how it may fuel one’s soulful expression in the world.
