In this beginner-friendly workshop, we will: learn how to connect pranayama (breath) with movement, cultivate an understanding of the energetic centers in the body known as bandhas, and practice focusing awareness on our mat through drishti (gaze). We will break down the Sun Salutations, downward-facing dog, and other foundational yoga poses - focusing on individual alignment and the use of props for support. Nadia will offer knowledge and insight so that you feel comfortable flowing with ease in a group class setting or in your home practice.
