An Inversion Workshop Series with Sophia Campbell

Sundays, September 14, 21, & 28 | 12:00–2:00 PM (Sept. 14 & 21 will run 2.5 hours)

Shift your perspective and soothe your nervous system in this empowering three-part series led by Sophia Campbell. Placing the Head Below the Heart explores the physical and energetic impact of inversions through the lens of biomechanics, somatic awareness, and nervous system regulation. Expect to build strength and confidence while cultivating joy, flexibility, and calm.

Whether you’re new to inversions or refining your practice, this workshop invites you to meet challenge with curiosity—not force—and learn safe, accessible pathways into poses that once felt out of reach.

Each session includes:

- Somatic and anatomical education

- Breathwork and meditation

- Core, shoulder, and spinal strengthening

- Pose breakdowns with props, walls, and partners

- Handouts from thought leaders like Rick Hanson and Gabor Maté

You’ll explore how inversions—ranging from Legs-Up-the-Wall to Headstand and Forearm Stand—can help activate the parasympathetic nervous system (“rest and digest”), supporting emotional resilience, nervous system balance, and physical strength.
