Danny Ramirez
Danny is a therapeutic yoga teacher, certified personal trainer, and Integrated Holistic Health Coach dedicated to creating inclusive, culturally grounded spaces for healing. His approach blends evidence-based movement science with somatic awareness, energetic understanding, and the compassionate principles of yoga. Danny believes that yoga should meet people exactly where they are, honoring their lived realities while empowering them to build strength, presence, and inner peace. His classes emphasize accessibility, affirmation, and the connection between breath, grounding, and personal transformation.
Danny began practicing yoga during one of the most challenging chapters of his life, seeking healing, grounding, and a deeper relationship with his own energy. This personal transformation led him to pursue advanced training through Yoga X at Stanford, where he completed his RYT-200, his certification as an Integrated Holistic Health Coach (NBHWC approved program) and is currently finishing a RYT-500 certification. His education emphasized trauma-informed practices, conscious consumption, integrative wellness, and culturally responsive teaching. Danny’s yoga journey also weaves in bodywork such as Thai Yoga Massage (Thai Massage Academy) Reiki, (Usui Reiki III) Proprioception Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) and Assisted Stretching.
Danny’s teaching style blends strength-based movement, mindful alignment, and breath-led pacing with an energetic, grounding presence. He integrates therapeutic yoga principles with calisthenics-inspired mobility work, helping students build functional strength while cultivating softness, awareness, and self-trust. His classes often include a five kosha framework, somatic cues, and accessible modifications, creating a space that is both empowering and restorative.
Whether guiding beginners or experienced practitioners, Danny centers cultural inclusivity, embodied healing, and the belief that yoga is a tool for liberation, resilience, and self-discovery.
