Arlene Ganir-Gomez

Arlene provides yoga class experiences that can be transformational for body, mind and spirit. She enjoys teaching diverse students with all ranges of physical abilities and invites students to use their breath as a way of healing and meditation. Arlene's classes encourage mindful self-awareness through self-inquiry and movement. Classes include deep relaxation integrated with guided meditations and aromatherapy.

Arlene's yoga journey began in 2005, curious about what yoga was and hoping to get healthier. Yoga became a sacred space for Arlene to heal and nourish herself from her career as a Social Worker. The more dedicated she was to her yoga practice, the more present she could be for the youth and families she worked with.

Arlene is a certified Kripalu Yoga Teacher through the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in Lenox, Massachusetts. She is also a certified prenatal/postnatal yoga teacher through Yoga Garden of San Francisco and completed YogaWorks Urban Zen Level 1 training and Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy Level 1 training.

Arlene hopes that you will join her on the journey of yoga, so that you can discover what yoga means to you.
